My #1 Leadership Value and why. Collaboration because to me, successful collaboration encompasses so many critical skills and values. The ability to listen and build trust. To use a conflict or a challenge as a way to create something stronger. To be a good collaborator, you must express integrity and respect. Collaboration asks you to know when to set aside your ego and allow someone else to take the lead. While there are many incredibly important attributes I value in leaders, I would never trust a leader who couldn’t truly collaborate with others.

Why I joined this community. I created a community that I needed when I was developing my leadership skills. More importantly, I believe we are in a crisis of poor leadership and many of us want to expand beyond what we have seen or been conditioned to believe. I want to contribute to solving this problem and I want to collaborate with others in the process.

There’s something I need to tell you… Purple really is my favorite color, but I actually like ALL colors. More importantly, I really appreciate that you’re here. I know I will learn more from all of you than I can ever share alone and together we will empower one another and increase possibilities.
