A common association for Tapas is with food. Originating in Spain, "tapa" literally means "to cover". It referred to a small, salty snack used to cover a glass of wine to protect the wine from flies. Not very pleasant, but an elegant solution for an inelegant problem. Over time, the word Tapas culturally evolved to be considered small, shareable plates of food. Tiny bites that are easy to consume, sometimes making up an entire meal. We love this concept as much as we love Tapas dining, but our inspiration came from a different, lesser known reference.
In Yoga, Tapas represents "fiery discipline". It is the energy that brings a spark of an idea into a vibrant reality. It is the drive required to be committed to something, with a goal towards long-term results over quick gratification.
At Tapas Innovation, we use the basis of this philosophy as our approach to creative success. We work with you to establish key goals, develop strategic plans, and execute original ideas that align with your core values and authentically promote you or your business.
